Clay. How can you not like making things out of mud? 

Note:  Most recent barrel and smoke fired work is at the beginning.

***I say "barrel fired" because it isn't quite as hot as pit firing, but a bit hotter than

 "smoke" firing.   I layered sawdust and peat moss, pots, wove branches in, sprinkled copper carb

and dog food on /around the pots,  more sawdust, more pots and brush on top. 

What I have labeled "Smoke fired" work was fired using paper alone.  Enjoy!
